I responded to an ad, the President called me to schedule an interview. I attended an interview within the next several days with the President and the VP for Research (it was late in the afternoon and not many other staff were around). That portion of the interview process seemed to have more to do with personality and fit. I then had a second interview with a few members of the team I would be working with. I received an offer letter within a few days, responded with questions and salary increase, received a revised offer letter within another day or so. Yes, there is a grammar test and high value is placed on it so take your time and do your best.
