Time from initial application, quick phone chat with HR to scheduling an in-person interview was one week. The interview was short and included a basic knowledge test. On the way home from the in-person interview they called wanting to set up a two day trial period before they would commit to making an offer. This trial period is extremely unusual in the industry and getting the pay rate for the period was like pulling teeth. Once I did, it showed that as an employer they would be underpaying and generally have a pushy attitude. I declined.
