I had a recruiter phone screen approximately 3 weeks after applying online followed by separate interviews with two Managers and a Managing Director over the span of about 2 weeks. All interviewers were friendly, engaged and primarily interested in my background in the consulting industry, managing experience, and specific areas of expertise within Financial Crime Compliance. They gave me a very positive impression of the firm. HR reached out via phone to say they planned to make an offer but noted it may take a week or two to process the details. I never heard back. Contacted the HR individual twice who said they were waiting on the business two weeks and then two months later. It's fine to go with another candidate. Not so fine or professional to ghost people that far into the process.
