First interview with recruiter, they outsource this to ADP. Interview was smooth and easy, not too job specific. I had an on-site with two Directors, and then the team this role would be managing. The interviews were fairly straight forward and specific to the job. Everyone was very friendly, but the overall feeling was the Del Monte was not doing well. The one Director communicated to me that the Company has been hurting financially, which I had assumed given this industry has been hurt over the past few years. The team that this role would be responsible for shared that their systems and processes were antiquated. In the end I didn’t feel good about the role, and I think they sensed that. I didn’t hear from them, so two weeks later I reached out and they let me know they were moving forward with another candidate. Overall, it seemed like a great group of people, but the Company is going through some struggles.
