6 interviews. 2 reference checks. 30+ day process. 0 answers provided. Interview process began 5/1/2023. I was contacted to begin the interview process. Between 5/1 and 5/31, I would go through 6 interviews, 3 of which were in person. Interview 6 was categorized as a “follow up” call from the hiring mgr who I’d interviewed with twice, but asked more questions that I had answered in the previous interviews. Said he would return with an answer early next week. Also stated that I was a top candidate and that everyone I’d interviewed with prior were “singing my praises.” No follow up after that. I emailed my HR point of contact on Thursday, 6/8, to see if a decision had been made and received no response until Tuesday, 6/13, only to inform me that the hiring manager had not yet made a decision but would have one by EOD Wednesday and she would provide an with an update once finalized. She would never follow back up. I emailed one last time 6/29, just to see if someone would have the professional courtesy to respond with an answer. Today is 7/6. Zero response. Absolute waste of mine and my references’ time.
