The recruiter reached out to me on linkedin. She felt like I would be a good fit for their Software Engineering team in Norwalk, CT. I responded that I was interested and she called me to do an initial screening. The recruiter asked me about what I am doing at my current job and details around that. Then she started asking me technical questions. I was not sure if she could fully understand what I was saying. Then she got back to me on email saying that I have to do a take home test. The test was called Conway's Game of life that required me to use a multi dimensional array and solve it. I did that and added some unit tests. Then received an email saying they are not interested in moving forward.
