I went through 3 rounds of interviews including the recruiter, the hiring manager, and a colleague before reaching the final round with the VP. The VP was asking me questions that was not listed anywhere on the JD. Moreover, neither the recruiter nor the hiring manager communicated to me that I needed to have technical skills for this role that the VP expected. There is a serious lack of communication between management and it is clear that the VP and the hiring team are not aligned on the JD for this role as they were asking me completely different questions in the interviews. I really think that the interview panel should sync up for the skill set for this candidate before interviewing. Also I was rejected for not having any technical skills which was not listed in the JD or mentioned in any of the prior rounds before meeting with the VP.

1. Screening by recruiter, 2. Hiring manager deep dive on your experience, 3. Case study related to their platform and use cases, 4. Leadership round for culture fit and final check. They even provided feedback after not making the final rounds which I really appreciated.
