First, it was a 20min phone call with HR recruiter asking to talk about myself, my technical experiences, if I have understanding about Python and bash, and salary expectation(which was said 45k by the recruiter). After that I was given the Rackerrank home test(which 4 questions, 1 SQL filtering querry, 1 bash querry and 1 for to setup an agent in ubuntu environment and another to setup Docker), for this Rackerrank test I suggest you to open up a learn account first on their portsl and do the Datadog Foundtion and Developer 101 courses, they are both 4hs more less each but it is hands-on on the real Datadog platform(very helpful). They will send you emails with some guidence but go through the documentation(Agent, integrations, debugging), you will need it. After that I did the interview with the Team Manager where I thought that I went well but at the end I didn't. It was 20min video call where he asked me to talk about myself, after about technical skills, what do I think to work with premier customers. If I had passed it would have 2 more interviews rounds, one with team leads asking technial questions and for the last with the director, which in my case didn't happen. Negative point despite the frustation in not been moved forward and all effort I put into this was being ignored from the recruiter team not been given a feedback as I requested very polity after I been rejected.
