There were 5 total interviews in the entire process. 1st was initial 30-minute screen with the recruiter. 2nd was 1-hour live-coding SQL exercise with an analytics engineering manager. 3rd was a 45-minute video interview with the Hiring Manager about my past experience. 4th was a 1-hour data modeling/design interview in a tool called Excalidraw. The final interview was in person at the Datadog office in the NYT Building (which was beautiful btw) and a 30-minute presentation with a panel of 4 people. My presentationw was about one of my past data projects followed by 30 minutes of Q&A. It was a great experience and each Datadog employee I interviewed with was very nice and welcoming, but the recruiter did fumble one of my interviews for one I had already previous completed so there was a bit of confusion at the beginning of my 4th interview. I'm sad I didn't get the job after the final interview, but it was a great experience and I would love to work here in the future!
