      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en DataServ (Missouri) en oct 2023

      Entrevista

      The entire process was a very negative and dysfunctional process. I was warned by the recruiter that the company doesn't take advice and has missed out on great candidates in the past. This position according to their website has been open since May of 2023. Should've been red flag one that they've let an important position like this remain open for almost 9 months. It was described there would be 4 rounds for this interview. Red Flag number 2 Interview one showed how much my time wasn't valued and how little I was thought of as a candidate. The person doing the interview was in his car picking up his kids upon joining the zoom. After then getting home you could hear the kids screaming in the back ground. He proceeds to ask me 4ish questions with over half the time remaining and says that's all he's got and hands it to me. I move forward with asking a serious of questions as this is a two way street and a major leap of faith at this point. He proceeds to deflect some of the questions and says this is a long process so we will get to them at that point. Red flag 3 I get an email the following week from their HR stating I did really well in the interview and they want to move me on to the next round. Things seem to be turning and maybe we've gotten out of the initial mess? Wrong. I get asked to take this Watson Glaser Test designed for Lawyers on critical assessment upon research online. Red Flag 4 as it's viewed very negatively to be used outside of the field of law upon any research. The directions sent to me doesn't follow the experience upon getting into and taking the assessment. I email HR back and over a month goes by and I hear nothing. Red Flag 5. The recruiter messages me one day roughly a month after taking this and asks if I've heard anything because He's gotten nothing back from this company. Red Flag 6. Another two weeks go by and I let the recruiter know that I still haven't heard anything and by this point I'm already out on a place that doesn't have the decency to communicate with someone they might want to employee. If we can't do basics then what is it like working there? Fast forward another 2 weeks and HR finally responds to the recruiter stating that they have my candidacy on stand by and will be reviewing other candidates for "comparison" Red Flag 7. At this point I was already out but seeing how bad this process was and how dysfunctional this was and how ok they we're with treating a candidate I was responding in order to capture this from beginning to end to let other job seekers know who you're doing business with as this behavior isn't ok Almost another month goes by when the recruiter reaches out to me very embarrassed apologizing and states how dysfunctional this has been and that they've now passed because the score of the assessment wasn't high enough. It takes 2 months to review in this case to decide that. Red Flag 8 All in all the salary range for the position isn't in line to what's being asked to be done in addition to the above.

      We are sorry that this process did not seem to go as smoothly or quickly as you were expecting. We do inform recruiters and candidates that our process is longer and more involved than some organizations. Our company is built on long-term relationships and for our entire history we have spent more time interviewing than other companies because we are seeking an excellent cultural fit. Most of our candidates are also looking for this kind of "fit" and therefore appreciate our thoroughness in this process. We have found success using these steps, as each one has its own purpose to help us get to know the candidate and to allow the candidate to get to know us. However, we are always looking for ways to improve our process and the candidate experience, so we appreciate your candid feedback. We wish you the best of luck in finding your fit.
