It was a relatively easy experience they asked a couple basic questions and asked for reasonings behind some of them, but after a while when they flipped the paper they started to ask a lot of hypothetical questions my best advice is to study Daiso policies ahead of time so you're prepared for every question

Where did you work before? Why'd you leave your job? If you saw someone stealing what would you do (Daiso has a non-aggression environment so never confront them!)
I applied online and the manager got back to me. Had one interview then I was hired. Easy basic questions like your strengths, weaknesses, experiences, and skills. They ask for your availability. I think it depends on how desperate of help your location is. If they're short staffed or not.

Had an interview there, it was an in person interview with three people interviewing me. The interview was easy but was kind of awkward since it was in a computer room

I gave a follow up call a week later after submitting a job application showing interest. Then I was interviewed via call. I shared my experience as a sales associate and answered basic interview questions such as how many hours I wanted to work, what is my availability, etc. then I gave a follow up call a week later asking about the status of my application then they offered me the position.
