Had a quick and easy interview over the phone and was invited to do an in-person interview. The in-person interview was a lot different than I was expecting. They basically just handed me pages of problems to solve and to write down my answers while they sat there watching me. They didn't ask me any behavioral questions or questions regarding my resume (which is what I prepared for). It was a very uncomfortable experience, especially because I don't know any Engineer that has had an interview like that.

I was put in touch with CCC through a technical recruiter. I was told from the outset that I was likely over-qualified for this position (position requires an AS degree in drafting or similar and I have a BSME), but I was told it was possible I could be hired to work in the position for some time before moving up to an actual engineering role. I had one phone interview with an engineering manager that lasted about 30 minutes, mostly covering what CCC does and what the position would entail as well as some pretty standard personality/situational questions. It was relayed to me through the recruiter about a week later that they liked me but had decided to look for someone with a lower-level degree that could fill the position long-term.
