The interview was very informal , the manager asked a few questions about my cv and about my interests. Then we moved onto a role play where I was trying to sell a new nerwork plan to this customer, which was played by the manager.
The manager was friendly at the beginning however once i started speaking it seemed that she was bored and that kinda put me off abit. I did not receive any feedback from them whatsoever.

Asked to prepare knowledge on a product beforehand from their website.
I turned up for the interview where I asked at a desk where I was supposed to go etc, she called for someone to come down to get me, straight away I could tell that they had made a judgement on me. I was dressed appropriately and I was friendly upon seeing them but at the time of the interview was definitely judged by my age I was just 18 at the time of the interview. The woman brought me to an office for the interview where another member of staff joined and they asked me questions about myself and the product I had chosen on the website which was a camera. In all honesty both interviewers were using an intimidation tactic and being very rude, not giving me the time of day. I was asked in reference to the camera I chose if it was waterproof to which I replied yes and they said I was wrong because I hadn’t stated to which depth! After that they took me out to the shop floor for a role play and gave me 30 seconds to look at the televisions before they came over acting like a customer and asking very specific questions about different smart tv’s that I would obviously not know the answers to. Overall a terrible experience and the fact it was one of the first interviews I had ever done has caused a lot of anxiety for further interviews after.

completed an online assessment was then called for a basic phone interview then invited in for a very short interview and went for a trial shift. was a very enjoyable and quick experience. the trick is appearing confident and ready.
