I was required to complete a series of online tests, only to find out they had already decided to hire someone else. I found it unprofessional and rude as the tests took several hours.

They were not communicative throughout the process. They required that I take several proficiency tests before ever going through an interview, which turned out to be a waste of time. They also seemed disorganized since their plans changed regarding where the position would be based.
