I interviewed for the position back in June 2024. 1st interview was a quick one with the talent acquisition advisor. Then a more official interview had been setup to meet with who would be my potential manager. The interview went great! She was very optimistic and told me to expect to hear about next steps in the coming week. She did warn me that there were a lot of vacations coming up and that scheduling could get hairy but was very optimistic none-the-less.
I reached out to the original talent acquisition advisor, my prospective future manager *and* a senior talent acquisition member of staff - repeatedly throughout the coming weeks.
After over SIX weeks of asking, I was finally informed that they weren't going to carry on with me.
I understand delays but I believe communication is key and no one would find waiting over six weeks for a 2nd interview to be a proper way of handling things without providing more feedback.
