Was contacted by recruiter, discussed my experience and qualifications. Was later contacted to go onsite for interview panel.
During onsite panel interview, one of the panelists was late by 10 minutes. Another one was via video conferencing, however the recruiter didnt set up the interview and I was only afforded 10 minutes with this person. The last panelists was supposed to be via conference call, however they were unavailable and were to be scheduled later. I never was afforded the opportunity to speak to this panelist, whom I believe was the hiring manager.
Overall, I felt the process was very unorganized.
It took 2 emails to the recruiter one a week later to ask about feedback. I was advised they would get back to me. The second was a week later, asking again about feedback. I was advised again to wait a few days. I waited almost a full 2 weeks to hear via email that they are going to continue their search and appreciated my time.
Cruise is going to be a great company someday. I have been part of small and big companies, interview processes and experiences. This one needs to change its process and organize interviews for candidates, for a better experience.
