Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en CrowdStrike

      Entrevista

The process was time-consuming. Everyone I spoke with was kind and the culture of the company is solid from what I've researched. However, there were red flags. For starters, the posted salary was $75k - $135k. Typically, the final salary falls somewhere in the middle. However, I was told early on that the range was $75k - $85k due to internal equity. It felt like they were banking on overqualified candidates to apply and sell the benefits package. After the first screening, I spoke with the hiring manager and had a great conversation. There were about two weeks in between without much contact and I was then asked to complete a take-home assessment that was relevant to the day-to-day work of the job. I submitted it and did not hear back for a few more weeks, as I guess a lot of folks were on PTO. When I heard back again, I was asked for three more hour-long interviews - none of which were with the hiring manager to discuss my assessment. And as much as I understand respect the process for the company to find the right fit, this felt a bit excessive for a $75k job. If it were a leadership role or even a senior level role, I would totally get it - but it was becoming a time sink. I am fortunate enough to have spoken to other companies that offered 25% more salary in half the time. It made more sense to just withdraw. I didn't have any poor interactions with people there - but I just decided to be done with it and take a competing offer. Obviously, CrowdStrike is a pillar and they have a solid package - but the misrepresentation of the salary as well as how long it took for this level of a role seemed off. It also seemed a little out of order. My biggest piece of advice would really just be prepared to wait - to get as far as I did it was nearly 2 months.

      Preguntas de entrevista [1]

      Pregunta 1

-A take home assessment about analyzing business performance. -Otherwise questions were more about culture team fit i.e., preferences towards sync vs async calls, things you like / dislike in a team, etc. I don't think the actual questions were too challenging.
