I applied to the position in October. Didn't get the first contact until January. I am really not sure why this took so long. I got set up with a recruiter who asked me to fill out a long questionnaire inquiring me about my past experiences and general information. After a few weeks I would get an e-mail about setting up a phone screen with the hiring manager. When I spoke with the hiring manager, it was a very casual interview and basic questions were asked (Why Corning? What CAD softwares do I know?). Before the phone call ended my hiring manager extended an onsite interview to me. This on-site interview was a day long interview process. It started with a presentation about my self and my work experiences that was presented to a room of 7-10 interviewers. After the presentation, the day broke out into 1:1 interviews with each of the interviewers. Most of the interviewers were relaxed and asked mainly simple behavioral questions. Nothing was complex to me. I was not asked any technical questions. They were mainly checking for fit rather than skill. As this was an entry level role, I did not expect too many skill-related questions.
