First was a 30 minute phone interview with one of the recruiters from Oklahoma. The phone interview was very conversational and seemed easy to relate to the recruiter. We talked about the answers to the original application. Then I was offered an in-person interview with the hiring manager at Corning HQ. The interview was very relaxed despite the incredibly professional setting and was one-on-one. The in-person interview lasted just over an hour. Before leaving, I was given a Writing Test to complete in five days. I waited a week and found out they hired internally instead. The silver lining is that they wanted to keep me in-the-loop and ending up reaching out to me with another opening that the previous hiring manager put my name in for.
