Entrevista
I had a wonderful experience during the entire interview process at CookUnity.
First, I had an initial conversation with Natalia Villegas, who explained the role and what the team was looking for. Then, I completed a testing assignment and participated in an interview with several team members, where I shared details about my project. Finally, I had the chance to speak with Cezanne from the Growth Marketing team.
Throughout the process, I truly enjoyed the experience and learned a lot. I especially liked the idea of creating a video piece and explaining my creative decisions, as I often make them unconsciously and this helped me reflect on my process.
I really appreciated the professionalism, kindness, and transparency from everyone involved. Overall, it was a positive and enriching experience that made me even more excited to join the team

Pregunta 1
They asked about my experience as an editor and the projects I’ve worked on, especially in advertising and social media content. I explained that I have over 10 years of experience editing videos for different formats and platforms.
They also wanted to know if I had storytelling experience, and I explained that I always focus on building a clear and engaging narrative in every piece, combining visuals, pacing, and music to create emotion and impact.
Regarding the testing project, they asked me to explain my creative decisions — why I chose certain cuts, the pacing, the effects, and how I aimed to capture the viewer’s attention within the first few seconds.
Finally, they asked about the AI tools I used and whether I preferred any specific one. I mentioned that I experimented with several tools like Sora, Veo 3, and Eleven Labs, and explained that I choose the tool depending on the project, but I prefer the ones that allow more control over the narrative and style for a more personalized result.

Entrevista
The interview process at CookUnity was very well-structured, detailed, and thoughtfully designed. Each step felt clear and engaging, and I actually had a lot of fun going through it. The assignments and conversations were challenging but enjoyable, which made the process both interesting and rewarding. What stood out the most was how understanding, professional, and supportive the team was throughout every stage. They created a positive atmosphere that helped me feel comfortable and motivated, and I came away from the experience with a very good impression of the company culture.
