After sending in my resume and speaking with the internal recruiter, I had a 1:1 interview with the hiring manager via a video conference. It went well, so I was given an assignment to write two blogs in a week. I did the work and turned it in on time. When I got no confirmation that they received my work, I followed up with the recruiter after a couple of days who informed me that the blogs had been reviewed and that they did not want to continue with the interview process. That's it, I was just dropped cold without any feedback. I gather I did not fulfill the requirements of the assignments, but I can only guess. I worked hard on those articles and believe I deserved some feedback. This experience did not leave me with a favorable impression of the company. You can draw your own conclusions if you decide to interview with the company.
