Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Confluent (Mountain View, CA) en dic 2018
Entrevista
First of all, they took nearly 2 months to finalize the process. Everytime they asked me about my availability, upon providing them with my available times, they wanted me to provide some other days for the following week, not for the week they initially asked for... Anyways, I cleared the first phone screen then was told that there will be a video conference call with two engineers. I was scheduled for three consecutive hours, and after we were done with the first interview, I stayed and waited in the line for more than an hour, until the second interviewer showed up on hangouts. I then finally figured that the second interview was supposed to be done at a later time, but the invitation schedule was all wrong covering the consecutive hours.. Moving forward, I got good comments from my interviewers, the last interviewer in particular, mentioned that I designed a perfect system (it was a design question). I was hoping to get a good feedback overall, have been sent a rejection the day after when I followed-up with the recruiter. I wasn't given any specific feedback although I asked for it. Not sure what they were looking for.. I enjoyed talking with the engineers, but overall, it was a bad experience and I think candidates deserve enough to get at least a sentence of feedback after going through 2 months of interview process, I believe having a blackbox hiring policy doesn't leave a good impression on the company.
