It was months long. The original phone call was brief. There was a second phone call, with interview question, just basic questions, and then an interview was set up. The interview was conducted by separate people all interested in their own agenda, Finally I was called and asked to do a presentation. I was then told the choice was between another applicant and myself. The other person ended up having more experience in the area.
The interview is performed by two (2) senior managers. Each manager takes turns at asking the candidate approximately 15 to 18 questions. Most questions are behavioral or scenario in nature. At least two questions are regarding ethics.

The Director of the unit emailed me to schedule an interview for the position. The next week I interviewed with the Director and Senior Manager, along with a team member.
After the interview, I followed up 3 weeks later with the Director and they emailed back saying that someone will provide an update. A few days later, the Senior Manager emailed me asking for my availability. They called within two days and told me that I didn’t get the job. About a week later, I received a generic email saying that I’m no longer under consideration for the position.

worked through discussions with the recruiter then moved into 2 rounds of interviews with senior management. Good communication throughout the entire process. Interviews were professional and thorough. You can tell they want to ensure they are filling the role with the right individual who will work well with the existing teams.
