Applied online, phone screen and then was supposed to interview with one of the team members I would be managing but he thought he was up for promotion already and was not eager to interview someone new to the manager role. He showed up over 10 minutes late to the phone call and decided to pass on moving me to the next round despite my qualifications on doing the exact same thing in my current position. Having worked with stakeholders that invest in this company it seems like they are hiring more junior talent that are inexperienced to build a technology platform that seems optically better from the outside but avoid the pitfalls of looking at some of the internal issues.
