I was recruited online via LinkedIn. After an initial basic phone screen, I was then invited to conduct an interview with the Regional Director of the Dallas office. When I got there, they seemed confused and the Regional Director only gave me 5 minutes of his time before I left. First I spoke to an Account Manager. It was early in the morning and he seemed standoffish after I tried to have some initial conversation with him prior to the real interview questions. I tried to make it as conversational as possible, but I really had to work for it. Once the interview was over, he said that it was an intriguing conversation. I thought he was serious until I later realized that he was probably being sarcastic since I wasn't invited back for another interview.
