HORRIBLE interview process!!!! My first interview went well and the lady I spoke with was friendly. She seemed genuinely interested in me and what skills I could bring to the position. Within 48 hours I had been selected to move on the second round of interviews with the CEO. The CEO was late to our interview and did not speak once he had joined our call. He started our interview by telling me I should be appreciative he took time out of his schedule to meet me with me. This was the first comment of many that he mentioned how valuable his time was. He let me know he does not look at resumes before the interview, because he can ‘get a sense’ of who I am and what I know based on our conversation. He only asked me four questions before he said I was boring him, started telling me how little I know (calling it bs), mentioning my age/family life has distracted me from my career goals, and in so many words telling me I won’t amount to much. He even went as far as saying my previous experience was not relevant. I have 15+ years of experience in this exact role!!! I’m disgusted at the lack of professionalism and would never want to work for a person or a company that treats their potential employees this way. Don’t even waste your time applying unless you want to be completely torn down, cursed at, and go forward with doubts about your abilities!
