Interviewed with about 6-8 different people over many days. I actually did not think the process was going well because most of my interviewers were a little cold or seemed bored, but the recruiter told me they had great reviews, so who knows! I started with an HR rep and my peer in the role, then another HR rep and the VP of the department, then the final interview was with business groups outside of my proposed group as sort of a gut check. In the first round I was asked to complete a simple take-home assignment to assess skills related to the job, but otherwise the only other technical questions I was asked (for a technical role) were from the cross-functional partners in the final round, but their questions only related to their areas so I was a little baffled (e.g., imagine a French translator being asked what they know about Russian verb translation). But in the end I received an offer quite quickly. There was en extensive background check and I had to provide a lot of supporting documentation since I worked outside the USA and the background check does not cross borders. Otherwise a very organized process, very respectful of my time, and always hearing back from the HR team (through the recruiter) on how things were going.

I was recruited from work by the GM. She called me for an interview a day later. I met with her at the starbucks at our mall and we just had a conversation. Interview with the DM a week later. Simple questions about leadership and KPI's. How you lead a team and your ability to be autonomous is important to them.
