I should have read the prior reviews of Cloudera before bothering to apply.
I applied online in March then I received an email from senior recruiter that her lead should reach out to me
since my profile was so strong. 1 week later, a phone interview with the hiring manager was set.
The hiring manager never called and missed his appointment! I pinged the recruiter and she replied they
are looking for a hands on developer. I replied that I've been doing the same role for over 5 years.
She replied back that she would forward my resume. Totally inept and unprofessional.
Extensive multi-round technical rounds with actual team members. Nice friendly environment, but tough questions from OS, networking to hadoop components and programming. Initial and final discussions are with management and recruiters.

The interview was over zoom with a possible future colleague and a hiring manager. The interview was broken into a technique and social portion. The technique portion involved asking questions regarding the linux.
