      Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Cloudera (Budapest) en mar 2018

      Entrevista

      At first sight this Company looks very serious company, and a recruiter called me on phone to ask me if I would like to go to them to work. I said, let's try! One week later they scheduled a remote interview session. I passed it, and 1-2 days later they scheduled a 3x1 hours long technical interview serie, where I met with 5 new interviewers. They mainly asked questions about algorythms and data structures, there was some questions about architectures. I think all conversations was a pleasure, I answered every questions, at the ends of the three rounds we always agreed that we have the good solution on the whiteboard. I asked the interviewers in which team they are looking for candidates, but they said they are looking for more candidates for more jobs. BUT after that... I was waiting for the feedback more than 10 days, when I asked them if they have any updates or not. Within a day after my question they answered: "the team has decided not to move forward with your application at this time. Please note that this decision should not be interpreted as a negative judgment of your personal capabilities but is purely arrived at as a result of matching the specifications of the job we are trying to fill." So I was not matching the specifications of the job. What job??? They said, they are looking for more candidates. And why I was not matching? Not matching to what? Every interview went well, all questions were answered, all interview was ended with agreement that the result is good. So interviews can't be the reason for refusing me. And I have been a Senior/Lead developer/architect for long-long years in very serious companies, like EPAM, GE, so my experience is more than enough for them. The interviewers were symphatic, and we talked in a good mood, so that's OK again. They didn't give me an offer, we never talked about salary, so it shouldn't be a problem again. So the late negative answer was a real surprise for me. I don't offer this company to anybody, this is a very not serious company, and the interviews are only time wasting. Please avoid this company!
