I had two interviews. First was over the phone and went through standard behavioural questions and run through of my resume. Second interview was basically a full recruitment day with several other candidates applying for different positions in software and hardware. Recruitment day included opportunity to talk to HR, a lab tour and followed with an interview with two senior managers again going through a more in depth analysis of your resume and standard behavioural questions. Overall the interview process went smooth and the whole day makes you feel very welcome at Ciena and the HR does a tremendous job of organizing everything and assisting you with the whole process.
