Me postulé a través de una facultad o universidad. El proceso tomó 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Chewy (Fort Lauderdale, FL) en oct 2017

      Entrevista

Interview was in Fort Lauderdale, FL. That Thursday night was a networking session, where business leaders from all over the company were there. They were really nice and offered great insight into the company. Friday was when the actual interview way. During that day, we were split into 2 groups (wasn't really random since the majority of students from my school were in my group), and both groups did the same activities, but during different times (so ultimately we switched in the afternoon). I had 2 separate interviews in the morning, one with someone from e-commerce and one with someone from marketing. Both interviews were very conversational, and I walked away pretty confident... except unsure of how I did. In the afternoon, all of the candidates reconvened and were randomly put into groups (though all full time candidates were together), and did a case. All the groups got different questions (ie. How many traffic lights are in Iowa?). You got 15 min to conceptualize an answer with your group and present it to business leaders. That part was a bit daunting since they questioned us on our thinking. Later on, we were shown around the office and was able to sit in with their customer service reps (they are all incredibly patient and enthusiastic, makes sense why the company excels). At the end of the day, they were very nice and gave us goodie bags before we all departed. They promised that they would have responses by the following Wednesday. I didn't get a decision that Wednesday, and they said they would have one the next Monday, which turned into a promise for "definitely" that week's Wednesday. On that Wednesday, I get a call saying that I have to re-interview for another department essentially because of a lack of fit with the other 2 departments I interviewed for. I now had another interview for Friday. After the interview Friday, I learn that I will get a response on Monday. In the end I didn't get an offer, which was fine because I figured I wasn't going to anyway. All of these notifications were made by the recruiter via phone, which was nice because most companies don't bother to communicate anything. Overall, the company is fantastic and the recruiters are wonderful individuals who really want to make sure that the process is great for each candidate. This is still relatively new for the recruiters in terms of developing their candidate experience and they already are doing better than most companies. The only comment I have is that they should not overpromise when it comes to decision making timeline. I am not sure if the recruiters realize the sense of negativity/dread with each delay. I know some candidates who got responses on that Wednesday, and others who got delayed as well. At the very least, just tell all candidates in the future that they will hear back within 2 weeks. That is the standard timeline for most companies, and most candidates (who have interviewed a lot) are used to this. This decreases the negative feelings that someone can have about the post-interview process and maybe their overall experience.
