I recently interviewed for a Partner Engineering role at Check. The process was on the longer side, with an initial screen, hiring manager interview, technical exercise, case study, and team conversations. Each step gave me a better sense of the company, the work, and the people.
Communication was clear from start to finish. The team was responsive, professional, and made it easy to know what to expect. Everyone I spoke with came across as genuine and knowledgeable, and the experience felt organized and respectful compared to many tech interview processes that can feel rushed or disjointed.
If anything, the process could be shortened a bit, but overall it was one of the better interview experiences I’ve had.
