After Ive passed the test I had an inteview with theteam leader, and then an interview with the manager (that I didnt pass)

I received a call from HR, and they asked me to complete an at-home coding test. The test was conducted on Codility and comprised three distinct questions that required answers. Regrettably, this marked my inaugural attempt at a coding test, and I became rather flustered, ultimately being unable to complete all the questions within the designated timeframe. Consequently, Check Point opted to proceed with an alternative candidate. I wish to emphasize that the questions were indeed reasonable, and I managed to solve them on the very same day; my challenge lay in tackling them within the stipulated time.

First Question: Given a string in the format 'MM-DD' to represent a date, where any number of 'M's or 'D's can be substituted with 'X', return the latest possible date within the calendar year. If the input is invalid, return 'xx-xx'. Example: For input 'X2-X9', the expected output is '12-29', as this date is the latest valid one that matches the specified format.

At the beginning of the interview he asked me to introduce myself and then asked some questions about network protocols and asked me to analyze something.
