Bad. I applied for an analyst III role, but in the phone screening the recruiter thought it better to put me in for this analyst IV role. Int 1 with the hiring team was fine (virtual w hiring mgr, peer, & hiring mgr's mgr). Int 2 with the VP (or something) was awkward as she talked most all of the time. Then... the waiting... A full month after the 2nd and last interview (and 11 days after the role was reposted), I got a generic email about pursuing other candidates. Maybe I'm out of touch, but a full month to hear anything after a final interview is absurd. I wonder if I what would have happened if I was given a shot to interview for the role I applied for in the first place... Oh, well. I'll never pursue anything with Centene (as an employee or a customer) going forward.

After a phone screen I had probably four or five phone calls with different managers, plus a full day interview that was scheduled with seven different people. Following that there is a background check if you are interested in the position, and about a week later you'll get a call with an offer or a call stating that you've been declined because of unspecified reasons. Things I wish I had asked: - Is my job description what I'll actually be doing. - What are your goals for me in my first 60 days, 90 days and 6 months.
