Had to separate interviews; one from the regional manager and one from the training coordinator. Having little sales experience and desiring a sales position, the regional manager asked a lot of questions about leadership and self confidence. Very laid back. The interview with the training coordinator was a bit more intricate and very unique. He got to know me and I asked a few questions about him as well. He went on to say, "My girlfriend and I want to go on vacation but we don't know where we want to go. Where should we go?" I thought to myself "Figure that out yourself, dude." but it being a sales interview, I proceed to ask "What kind of things do you enjoy doing? What does your girlfriend enjoy doing?" This is what he was looking for. They want people who care about providing solutions no matter what the problem is and people who are good at uncovering needs. Both interviews were less than 30 minutes and very laid back; this coming from the most introverted person you will ever meet.
