I had a virtual interview for a job in New York with Sian Romoli. Prior to that I had a brief phone interview with HR. The virtual interview was much too general and completely impersonal. The questions were the same ones that were asked for jobs I applied to during high school. I was only asked behavioral questions, which has to be the very worst method of getting to know candidates. Because 1.) People lie and 2.) Memories for specific events change or disappear. I was astonished that a company like Capital Group would conduct interviews so unimaginatively.
