The interview process consisted of three stages following the recruitment call. The first stage was a technical white boarding session with another Principal Engineer, where I was asked to draw the architecture for a recent project. The second stage was with a Managing Principal, where I was asked questions about my experience as an engineering managing teams, project delivery and my experience with account-level commercial skills like business development, RFIs/RFPs and expanding accounts. The third stage was an informal, but important chat with the Global Head of Engineering, discussing my career experience and approach to managing.
