Four rounds, recruiter, general q&a, case study, senior leadership.
I have been involved in around 50 interviews in my time (conducting/being interviewed) and unfortunately this one takes the top spot for the worst; interrupting and laughing at perfectly reasonable answers, shouting, failing to listen to answers and holding a condescending tone.
Perhaps not too relevant but they were also late (without apology) with a messy background and they read up on how to give the interview during the interview.
I was going to end the interview early but decided to keep my professionalism and naively hope for a tone shift. It will leave a lasting impression throughout my career. Companies need to remember they are public facing when they are giving interviews, I will take very little interest in working with Capco in the future given the experience. It’s a shame as the senior team and recruiter seemed quite nice.
