I just so happened to be in HR discussing other matters and I was referred to an opening for a Camera Repair Tech. Before I knew it I was setup for vis a vis conversation with the department head to assess my personality and potential fit into the Camera Refurbishment section. Very informal, but we clicked and he was impressed with my work history (I was a 10 year military aircraft mechanic) and perspective on teamwork and technical aptitude.
