Long process:
1. Recruiter phone call
2. Hacker rank test (135 minutes)
3. Technical interview with two senior engineers (60 minutes)
4. Live coding interview with two engineers (120 minutes)
5. Engineering manager/CTO interview. (Pro tip: the engineering manager relies on the book: Engineering Management for the Rest of Us)
6. Contract and salary negotiation with HR
It's worth noting that there will be long gaps between late steps and you might think you were ghosted. I think these gaps are waste of time especially when they start negotiation your notice period!
