Entrevista
I applied late August 2017. A few days later I was invited to do a remote skills test which consisted of:
WRITTEN QUESTION: 20-30 minutes
SKILLS TEST: 30-40 minutes
VIDEO QUESTIONS: 10-20 minutes
Most likely the test will take you a few hours to complete-NOT 90 minutes as they say! The first part has you answer basic interview questions like accomplishments, what do you like to do in your free time, why you are the best candidate, etc.
Then, you had to read a sample client's request for a web design, look at several different options, and determine which one was the best and why. Then, you had to do some proofreading of some resumes, determine which was the best, and explain why. Then, you had to view other candidates videos, again rank them-with reasons to back up your ranking. The last part was to answer some more questions via video that you had to upload to Youtube.
After this I was invited to do a Skype interview. Another recruiter, interviewed me. She claimed her video camera wasn't working and was 20 min late to the interview as a result. Based on my overall experience with this company and based on the reviews I read on Glassdoor I definitely wonder if that was a company trick to make the candidate think they aren't being seen but actually they are.
After I completed this round I had to complete yet another round of written questions and ranking scenarios that they say only take 30 min-again more like again hour or more. Even though i was asked my desired salary in the Skype interview, I was asked again in the written part. I'm not sure what the pay was but I got the impression that it's quite low-given that I told that I was a strong contender in the Skype interview-but when I was forced to give a desired salary-the energy of the conversation shifted after I gave my number.
Even though there were a lot of negative comments about the interview process I wanted to give the company the benefit of the doubt.
I was incredibly disappointed to not receive any sort of rejection letter or something after putting me through 3 rounds of the interview process that took about 6+ hours of my time. I also thought it was deceiving to say that the company has health insurance but the employee pays the premium.
Overall benefits/pay seems lousy.
I think if you are desperate to work remotely, don't mind paying your own health insurance, and living in a community where the cost of living is very low then then perhaps its worth exploring this position.

found the post online on Nov 2020. Go through the online technical test that they said was only take 30 minutes but it took me 2+ hours to go through the test. Then heard nothing for 5 MONTHS!
Suddenly, they sent me an invitation after no update for 5 MONTHS for an interview which is 12 in the morning on my timezone.
Did the interview. They told me I would have to work on pacific time which means I have to start working at 11 pm to 7 am. My monitors will also be monitored with Time Doctor. They said it will take screenshots to make sure I am working and they mentioned about 'billing the client'.
I read through the comments about the salary range and it seems like they want some employees with high quality and low salary. Told my salary expectation to the recruiter. He told me they will give me an update after 2 weeks. I emailed the recruiter 2 TIMES but he didn't reply at all so he LIED about the 2 weeks update.
It took 2 MONTHS for them to sent me a rejection email. And I was told by the recruiter that only 10% was contacted and invited for an interview .
The recruiter also told me that after 3 years, I 'might' be able to get a bonus around $200 in one month.
Honestly, my current job pays me more bonus than that. If I work really hard and achieve my target at my current role I can make $2,000 - 4,000 in 3 months and I'm only 6 months in.
SO
If you apply at this company make sure this is your last resort because 90% of you WILL NOT get any reply and it might take up to 7 MONTHS just to get a rejection letter also the recruiter will ignore your emails.
Ask yourself this. Do I want to work with a company that treat his potential employees like this?
Hopefully, this review helps some who is thinking about going through the process. For those who are struggling to find a job don't apply to this company, you will probably get depress because they will most like ghost you. Look at some other companies. Definitely NOT CT.
The interview process was pretty interesting. I enjoyed the skill test. I applied online and the next day was contacted through email to complete a 90 minutes skill test, which takes much longer than 90 minutes. The video portion of the skills test was ok. I wasn't a big fan of that part, but I did not mind doing it since it was apart of the test. I actually enjoyed the work. After I submitted my skills test, I was notified with a confirmation email that my skills test was received and that it will be reviewed once all candidates submitted theirs. They indicated that the process can take a few weeks before all the candidates submits their skills test. I believe I applied and submitted my skills test around March 10, 2018, and I still have not heard anything, At this moment I am pretty anxious, to hear whether or not I made it through to the next round, or at least where they are in the process.
I am not sure if they send out courtesy emails or not, but it would be nice. I know as a recruiter/hiring manager I give courtesy calls the candidates I interview. All in all, I am so looking forward to possibly working with this company.

Why CT and why I am the best fit for the position?

They send you a long interview form that you fill out online, a skills test, and you have to upload a 3-minute video introducing yourself. THIS IS A HOAX. I believe they only send these out to test out their software so that they can sell it to companies. Part of the skills test is watching other submitted videos. Once you have completed the "assessment," they tell you to expect to hear from them in a week or so. You won't hear anything. Then, if you follow up, you will get a response that says to wait another 3-4 weeks. Another one of their "companies" is Tested, Recruiters. Dead giveaway. They send out the exact same emails and assessments. Don't waste your time. They aren't really hiring. They are using you.
