Entrevista
Applied online and was contacted about month later to attend an interview at the Radisson. I showed up 1 hour early and I was the 8th person so take a book because your arrival determines your interview time. Recruiter showed us a video about the company and then a couple of yard masters operations managers came up and gave us their "tough guy spiel" about all the difficult things about the job and if anyone derails a train in their yard they would be canned. This all changed at the interview. The interviews were done by the two yard masters (were the positions needed to be filled) and by the recruiter conducting his own. You def want the yard masters they spent more time w the interviewees. They cover pay very quickly and it is grey area. About 20 ppl attended overall for 4 positions.

Name a time where you witnessed a safety violation?....Name a time where you have violated a safety policy?
It’s all online. You record yourself answering couple questions and that’s it. Minimal human interaction. I believe it was only 5 questions or so and you have a time limit to answer

The interview was online, and only involved recording video answers to what you would do in specific scenarios, or times in the past when you worked safely. Things along those lines.

it was simple and fast. they ask you straight forward questions. each question pertains to the job and how you would handle it. they are just making sure you are serious about the job.
