I submitted my application for the position on May 24 and received a response on May 26. Subsequently, I had an initial interview with the internal recruiter on May 31, which provided valuable insights into the position. Continuing with the hiring process, I had a 45-minute phone interview with the Chief Marketing Officer on June 2, during which we both agreed that I was well-suited for the role and the office culture. On June 9, I had the opportunity to attend an in-person interview at CPI Headquarters. The interview lasted approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, during which I had the pleasure of meeting six members of the Marketing team whom I would potentially be working closely with, as well as the CMO. The conversations were positive, and I received feedback that my experience and qualifications aligned well with the requirements of the position and the overall CPI environment. During this stage, it was mentioned that the final decision would be among myself and two other candidates, and regrettably, the genders of these candidates were explicitly highlighted by the CMO, with a suggestion that my being a woman might give me an advantage. Such comments were unprofessional and unnecessary, as hiring decisions should be based solely on qualifications and skills. However, despite being told that the hiring process would be concluded within the next week, I never heard back from CPI Security. I reached out to the recruiter twice, once after 10 days and again as a last-ditch effort after another 10 days, but received no response. I also didn't receive any updates from the CMO or any other CPI representative. To make matters worse, the job posting briefly reappeared on job boards after my final interview before being replaced with a different "all-encompassing" marketing position. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, the absence of follow-up or updates after undergoing three rounds of interviews, including an in-person meeting, is disheartening. This entire experience has left me with a negative impression, and I am grateful to have avoided potential issues. If you are seeking employment with a company that values transparent communication and demonstrates respect for candidates, I do not recommend CPI Security.

the interviewer was clear, concise, and organized. She was helpful and attentive. She made sure to resolve any problems or questions that could have come up during the interview. Most importantly, it was not too lengthy or information heavy.
