The initial interview was smooth and fast, I got an invitation a day after I sent my application via Linkedin. However, after the first interview, I was told that I will receive a quiz as the second process, but received none nor heard anything from them after, when I was asking for updates. I took that as a sign that maybe I didn't pass, but after a few weeks I finally received a quiz from them and only have 24 hours to answer it (they asked me to write a few different categories). I didn't get to answer the quiz because I already got a job offer from another company, but I still think this shouldn't be normalize as it frustrates the applicant and dies down the excitement or motivation.

HR Team got back to me a month after I sent my application via LinkedIn. The person I was talking to 2/3 of my entire application process was an intern, so that threw me off a bit because it felt like my application was only practice material for him. They made me take a test mostly to evaluate my proofreading skills. I passed and was endorsed for the initial interview with a manager. During my initial interview, I was informed that I should’ve received a call from HR before the initial interview , but I didn’t get any. Initial interview went well, and I really enjoyed conversing with the manager. I was endorsed for final/panel interview two days after. Got rescheduled a couple times by both parties. The final interview went alright, but I think I did better in the initial. 2-3 weeks later, I got a call from HR but it was a different person telling me they will be handling my application from then on. They asked if I was available for a benefits discussion within the week and I said yes. Friday, I didn’t get any update if the benefits discussion will still push through so I messaged HR and they told me it slipped their mind because things at work are hectic. I let it be rescheduled to Monday the following week, but wasn’t getting any updates again when the day came. I messaged the HR person again and they told me they weren’t feeling well so the discussion was rescheduled again to Tuesday. Come Tuesday, I received a call from the two managers from my final interview and they discussed company benefits with me. They told me it was an informal discussion and was only to keep the communication going while candidate screening’s still ongoing. I understood. They told me I was one of the candidates they were seriously considering so that was reassurance enough for me at the time. That was in November. Come December, I still haven’t gotten any update or verdict on my application so I sent a follow-up email to HR. Still no sharing of their decision to this day, 5 months later, so I conclude that I was ghosted. I can’t say it’s a waste of my time since it was still an experience. Though, I am honestly disappointed.

Entrevista
Very quick and informative with no surprise trick questions. It was a relaxed conversation with the recruiter and then an in-person interview with your would-be manager. They asked for writing samples before your in-person interview.
