I was contacted by an HR rep to set up a ten minute interview to talk about my Resume and background. She asked me basic questions about my resume then started asking me questions that typically come at the end of an interview process or after an offer is made which made me slightly uncomfortable. I was told I would hear about if I would get to fly out to their Miami office for a site visit by Friday or the latest that upcoming Monday (I interviewed on a Tuesday). It has been two weeks and I still have not heard a word even after sending a follow-up email the week after. I asked during the interview if I would hear anything even if I did not get it and she informed me that I would but I guess they might have a company policy that prevents them from doing so.

It was the initial HR round. The interviewer was friendly and it went well but didn’t receive any response or reasoning behind not being taken ahead. The process was prompt though. I will reapply to the company sometime.
