I went through 4 rounds of interviews that went well and by the 4th interview, the person was speaking and conducting themselves as if they had already decided to choose me, going as far as saying my last interview was just a formality. After 4 rounds of interviews that went well with each individual, I was told they gave it to another candidate, which is their right but does not make it any less disappointing. I would appreciate not being led on by individual interviewers.

I interviewed for the workplace experience coordinator position and made it all the way to the 4th round of interviews, in which the person interviewing me said that the interview was just a formality really and conducted the interview in a way that made it seem like they were already going to offer me the role. 4 days later and I get a notification they offered it so another candidate. That's their right for sure, but that didn't make it any less disappointing. By far the most disappointing experience I've had interviewing.
