Entrevista
The interview process at Braze was extremely straightforward and efficient. I felt the team was transparent with me and cognizant of my time every step of the way. The main parts of the process were a recruiter phone screen, hiring manager phone call, writing assignment, on-site interview (about 3 hours), and video call with the CMO. In my particular case, I was humbled to be considered by the team for another open position, so I did have a second on-site interview, but that was by my choice, and again the team was very upfront and considerate of my time throughout. I very much enjoyed meeting with everyone and felt they understood that I was interviewing the team as much as they were interviewing me - they clearly cared about making sure I got all the information I needed and asked the questions I wanted. Ultimately, the role wasn't 100% the right fit at this point in my career, but I had a very positive interview experience.

Entrevista
Had an initial call with the recruiter to discuss the position broadly, share more about my experience, and discuss logistics. The next step was an interview with the hiring manager, where we discussed my experience with more detail and I got to ask a lot of questions. The third step was a writing assessment that required a full comms plan and media strategy based on a successful campaign with a client. The team went with someone else with more experience.
