The first phone interview went well and they seemed genuinely interested and enthusiastic to meet me. I was told that the benefits would be generous, with 15 days PTO. For the in-person interview, the tone changed and I was told at the start that they were looking for someone with more experience. The job asked for 3+ years and I had 4+, so this didn't make sense to me. They then told me that the PTO would be 5 days after the first year of working, and decided it would be appropriate to joke about paying me less since I had a short commute. Otherwise they were nice throughout the interview. I sent a letter afterwards thanking them for the interview, I was told to wait until the interview process was over, I then sent another email some weeks later saying I was still interested, and never heard back since.
