Great interview, good questions, until they asked my salary expectations. Soon found out they don't like to pay employees what they're worth. What kind of an institution pays Communications Administrators $41k?? BU seriously needs to evaluate their pay grades -- it seems almost every job is Grade 73 or 74 -- whether you're an admin assistant or even Director. And the "mid-point" is apparently only there with very very special approval. Very disappointing, as BU seems to be a great place to work otherwise. To be clear, these grades are a joke compared to other institutions such as MIT, Harvard. BU H/R -- pay attention -- this is a job seeker's market!
