Zoom call (asked me questions about myself) followed up by a lab visit (allowed me to ask questions about the project). The interview was done by a biomedical engineer themselves and not a HR person.

The interview was in person on campus. All interview questions were fairly straightforward and questions based off your resume and why are pursuing the role. They did contact you after the interview unless they were offering you the position.
